as per tomosuki's request, k-pop socks \o/ (donghae, taeyang, rain) they are so adorable! While I was lounging around the house in my rain ones, my dad looked at  my feet and went "haaaay I like your socks! they have a face and everything! :D" ♥

also thank you to shinigamitabris for gifting me with paid time. seriously ajsdhakjsfhkjasfhasjdhasjf ilu♥♥ now i shall have more variety in my icons! \:D/

As usual, we spent the day at the cousins' house for Christmas. However, I was actually not bored out of my mind because I talked to my cousins. What a nice change. I think they all find me slightly interesting now. My nephew also kept everyone entertained while he was awake; jeez, he's the cutest thing ever! He's learned how to change his facial expressions from D8 -> D: -> :D -> 8D -> XDDDD -> DDX and it is quite possibly the most amazing thing to behold from a ten-month old. He also caught on that big box/bag = big present, so when his mom was handed a smallish bag, his face would go from "OOOOH PRESENT FOR ME 8O" to "...REALLY DNW DX"

And truth be told, I somehow bonded with my (favoritecough) cousin who is the dad of my nephew who is apparently a sneakerhead and told me when he saw my red high-top taemin dunks, which turned into me explaining how I need different pairs of sneakers for dance and for casual wear. (trufax, i killed my favorite pair of dunks by using them for breaking; they have no traction now D:) He just texted me asking "Dude, I need ur sneaker size. Guess who?!" asjdjasfhjkashflkjashjfkhasjkfh ♥

and all three of the guys used to break way back when. uh it runs in the family what? dies.

my cousins are all just really amusing to be in the same room with, especially when they talk to me, haha. it makes me wonder how different our relationship would be if it wasn't so painfully awkward.

so yeah basically i love my family more and more each time we are together.

in other news, our tenants gave me two aero fleece-lined sweaters for christmas and wow, so warm. neon green and neon pink aren't my colors but warm sweaters?! you betcha. my mom also got me adorable socks, sleepwear, and a juicy bracelet ♥ dad got me a sweater (unintentionally! dies), and i have to knit things for the both of them in return, which means i need to take a trip to a yarn store!

earlier, i served the noon mass with one of my friends. whenever i serve with a friend, i get so ridiculously giggly on the altar because i'm not paying attention LOL. add the fact that my alb was two sizes too big and i was tripping over myself and you've got fail for an entire hour and fifteen minutes. it was lovely. really.

i hope you all had an awesome christmas and got the presents you wanted, but more importantly, the joy of the day itself and being with the people you love ♥

quite happy that today's been an awesome christmas eve because i finished my most recent knitted beanie-- it's cabled and has knitted hearts in it! SO CUTE I LOVE THE PATTERN. also, my dad came home with pizza when he went out and he, mark, and i watched star trek, me for the millionth time. it never gets old.

soon i really have to send out my college applications, though. thank goodness i have most of the supplements finished! time for the home stretch, methinks?

i also didn't mention that i got into rutgers' college of arts and sciences and college of nursing a week ago! even though it's rutgers, it is still the best feeling to receive your first college acceptance even if your parents deem it worthless.

it also feels strange not to be waiting for midnight because i usually pop in the year's w-inds. tour dvd once midnight hits on christmas day ): my annual christmas tradition is sorta ruined, haha. speaking of presents, one of my friends got me my first three pairs of k-pop socks for christmas; rain, donghae, and taeyang \:D/ ajsdhjasfh i'm going to wear them all the time now. actually, i want a pair of shinee ones even though they're not all that...nice looking. seriously, two of my friends and i spent a free period laughing at the shinee socks on star thots because they were so ridiculous!
