5th-Sep-2007 07:13 pm - First Day High
First day of school was... disappointing to say the least. That, of course, was my fault. I was way too excited, but wasn't at all prepared. For some reason, Freshmen and Sophomores had the first day together. Ew. Danielle, Liz, and I were once again reunited as bus buddies. Johnny wasn't there, so I didn't have a seat buddy.  The bus ride was...weird. All these extra people sitting in seats reserved for familiar faces. But these strangers didn't know who they were, and they weren't there. Ah, freshmen. I'm intimidated by them. But aside from that, I promise to be nice to the freshies! It still feels weird saying it. Sophomore. I am a Sophomore. Goodness, I feel old. Tick, tick, tick.

I got tired within the first 15 minutes of stepping into the building. Jumping up and down, being immersed into warm hugs, getting swung around, and falling into fits of laughter can really do that to you. I haven't seen my friends in so long! It was a great feeling, and everything seemed to fall in place and continue on from last time. I forgot to fill in and bring my lunch form, so I wasn't able to get my schedule. Jeez, some of those secretary ladies are "all up in your face" bitches. But hey! I wasn't the only one who forgot. Seems like this Sophomore class forgot the most lunch forms in all of history. ;D Oh! And on top of all that, I forgot to bring the oatmeal cookies I baked yesterday! Woot.

Mm, we got a lot of new teachers, new electives, and a new rotational. And I have a new homeroom, since the T.V. Production room is now Ms. Witham's. The place has been painted white and since it's so huge, all of Ms. Witham's stuff is spread out. Oh, and she made cinnamon muffins, which were really good. ;] Saw Steven and Chris. Guess what? Steven grew. As in.. past 6''! My tiny body in comparison to his height is just...lmao. My neck hurts when I talk to him. And I witnessed Chris interact with Jessa, and that's how I new everything was back to normal.

Well, Dylan Jazztin also forgot his paper so we hung around each other for a while. A bunch of drifters, ya know? I gave him his grass and Spiderman mug, which he surprisingly liked a lot. (Bombarded) Hmm... they didn't really have a good lunch. Mashed potatoes with cinnamon, chicken nuggets, and sugared carrots. Interesting. Our freshman year was so much better. >.>
Oh! I now know 3 freshmen. ;] Shannon (Dylan's love), Jaimie, and Mary. Yay! Went outside on the hill for a bit then came back inside. Then chilled with Hoa in the piano room. I feel bad; I've been becoming Period Bitch around him, but that's cause he's nice and he can take it. We stayed there talking about love again, and he played one of his compositions for me (dedicated to a certain you-know-who). ;D It was amazing! That modest idiot genius! It sounded like the soundtrack to a Korean movie +50. Then we went home. Danielle, Liz, and I bought ice cream from Reusch.

Got home and looked over my camera's warranty thing with my mom. We're sending it in for repairs and hoping they don't catch that it was an accident that caused the defect. :p Couldn't find a proof of purchase so it took us a while. I'm kinda scared the whole thing won't work, but Sal says that I don't have a lot of faith in things. It's funny. I have faith in silly things most likely never to happen, rather than the things that have existed and happened before. Well, I guess we won't be seeing my camera in a while, you guys. D: I'm giving it maybe... 2 months. Especially if they have to give us a letter telling us we have to pay, then another letter giving them credit card info, and the whole package being delivered to us.

Mom also filled out the lunch form. She wanted to lie so I wouldn't have to pay for lunch. >.< Cheap cheap cheap. I want it to be tomorrow already, so I can make up for the sucky that was today.

God, I'm tired.
